MSP question

Hello. I'm traveling IAH-MSP tomorrow morning on United. I have a 7:30 pm flight to KEF on Icelandair. My question is this, can I go from terminal 1 to terminal 2 and stay airside? I have PriorityPass membership and due to long layover was hoping to use it at Escape Lounge at terminal 1. Really don't want to do security twice though. Thanks!

No, they are completely disconnected and you have to take a landside train to get between them. Not sure why you'd need to do security twice though as your UA flight will come into terminal 1, so just stay there until you need to get over to 2

Allow *plenty* of time to make the terminal-to-terminal connection. It's not an airport-style train. It's part of the local transit system.

That said, it's well-marked and runs frequently (and is free). But it's still a bit more complicated than hopping on an inter-terminal tram.
