My guess is as long as there isn't some larger weather issue that is causing delays over a large part of the US, you should be OK with a 4 hour connection.

Check this thread for the shuttle that connects T3 to T5. If you can get UA to interline check your bags all the way to ARN from AUS, all you need is your boarding pass and you can transit to T5 without having to re-clear security.

In mid-March you're more likely to have problems with thunderstorms than snow. Should be fine.
