Looks like they're working on the blue line station this weekend. The middle track wasn't in use and instead held a CTA track repair sort of train that help lots of crates that I suspect held escalator parts, some of the temporary walls were also removed for what looked like construction in the steps/escalator area and part of the floor was ripped up.

Oh, within 1 day of the new commissioner coming on board she was already raising hell about the CTA station.

She's not a political appointee at all, understands exactly what needs to get done and this will be a wake up call for some. ^

I was a bit shocked last week to see that the escalator at the O'Hare blue line station was operating...both of them :p

So, I guess a year and half, give or take.

It was finished, iirc, around the end of September/beginning of October.
