Park 'N Fly kills old program--was I shorted on earned days?

This isn't unique to Midwest travel, but there don't appear to be forums dedicated to frequent parker programs.

I've been a long-time member of Park 'N Fly's (national) Frequent Parker Program, racking up piles of free days for use on personal vacations.

A couple of months ago, their website suddenly began blocking access to existing account info, replacing those pages with this announcement:

"We are in the final stages of rolling out our new Frequent Parker program. The current program has been put on hold effective immediately. Previous information and activity has been retained and will be reflected in the new program. Updated information will be communicated in the next several weeks."

Today, I received a form letter in the mail, along with coupons for nine free days. Nowhere in the cover letter or on the enclosed coupons page is there mention of my name, address, account number, etc. The letter is not unique to the recipient---it's obviously the same thing mailed to everyone in the program.

What get my goat is that I know---with 99% certainty---I had far more than nine free days banked on my account. Since PNF has blocked access to account info, there's no way to check the original balance or access account history. We're pretty much stuck with what they provide...or don't.

Anyone else have insight into this? Am I the only person scratching my head over what happened to all those free days I've been saving for an upcoming trip?

(Sure, I could review my credit card statements to figure out how many days I've paid for the past year or more, but without knowing how many free days were in the account to begin with, there's no way to figure out an accurate free days total.)

In my case, I got the letter and Silver card in the mail, personalized with my info. And a coupon for 3 free days.

Last year I only stayed at a PNF once... for 3-4 days...maybe 5 tops. So for me this is great. Not sure about the rest of it.

I was in the same boat as you PaperQueen. I felt slighted when they re-did the program last year as well. And it seems I never received any free days from the 100+ days I parked in the lot this year. The old system would show them appear online, but now I have no idea where my free days are banked. It looks like they're up to no good again as the website says "We apologize for the inconvenience but we are performing some system maintenance on our website and are unable to process your transaction.
Please check back later to see all the new changes for our new 2015 Frequent Parker system. Happy Holidays!"
