Syrians are now only visa exempt for Iran if arriving directly from Damascus
There is a change in Syrian visa requirements for going to Iran according to Timatic. They were previously visa exempt, but now Timatic says they are only visa exempt under the following condition:
I haven't been able to confirm this anywhere else so far, has anybody heard of this or seen any kind of official announcement?
- Nationals of Syria with a normal passport arriving directly
from Damascus (DAM) for a maximum stay of 90 days. (SEE NOTE
