Question Main chain hotels in Red Sea Resorts

Hello everyone.

I'd like to hear peoples' experiences of stays in Red Sea resorts in any of the main chain hotels.
I have points to burn in Accor, Hilton, IHG & SPG/Marriott and whilst cash rates can be lowish there I could do with a 'free' holiday !

Any one got any recommendations or warnings ?

Cheers,
J.

IHG was careless with it's Egyptian hotels outside Cairo: I don't think there are any left. But there's a nice enough IC in Aqaba. And a CP in Eilat, if you fancy that.

Far more IHG choice in KSA, but ......

I think over a year ago, but no sure.
Instead of a disgusting Hilton it's just a regular disgusting hotel.
In TripAdvisor it's rated 32 out of 62 hotels in Eilat.
