9 hour overnight layover in Dubai

I am booked in Y on QF1 leaving Dubai on Jan 10. It is delayed by about 5 hours (leaving at 7:25 AM instead of the usual 2:40 AM). Called Qantas and they said there was no Y availability on the early morning DXB-LHR flights on EK or BA. QF also refused to provide accommodation in DXB. My 4 hour layover in Dubai is now a ~9 hour layover. Where's the best place to spend the night inside the DXB airport terminal?

I know it's not what you asked - but faced with nine hours overnight, I'd be tempted by a bed and a shower in a near-airport hotel. The Holiday Inn Express wouldn't (normally!) break the bank, and it runs an airport shuttle for a speedy transfer.
