One day in Dubai, What to do

We have one full day stopover with our connecting flight on next day early morning. Staying in RITZ CARLSTON near airport.

Given that, what can we do(2 adults 2 kids) in Dubai in one day?
How to get around from hotel.
Prefer something we can remember than just walking thru malls

Thanks

Search is your friend; this topic has been discussed many times in this forum which is probably why no one is responding to your question.

You can also look on the big red bus website and see where they stop. There are several good kid friendly and adult friendly spots to visit.

Really depends on what you are into. If you are looking for something to entertain the kids, one of the waterpark (Aquaventure or Wild Wadi) would be a good choice. There is enough to do for a full day. Alternatively, if you arriving within the next few months and want to do something indoor, Ski Dubai is a good option. I am sure you have heard about it, but it is basically a huge indoor ski slope.

Something completely different, but which could definitely also be a memorable experience is a visit to the Jumeriah Mosque and the sheikh zayed center for cultural understanding which I have heard a lot positive feedback on. (http://www.cultures.ae/).

For transportation the best option will be a taxi. The prices here are very reasonable and there is rarely waiting time for a taxi. Uber is also a good option here.
