Overnight in Amman

Flying through Amman in January, arriving 3PM with an 8AM next morning flight out.

As I'm going to use Priority Club points for my stay, my two choices are the Crown Plaza or the Intercontinental.

Any recommendations between these two?

Private pickup from airport to downtown and back the next moerning at $84.
Feedback on that as well wouldbe appreciated.

Choose the Intercontinental as it's in a much better location and you can walk to Rainbow St. for dinner and or shisha in the evening. There are some nice shops there too, with local handicrafts and don't miss the Soap House which is just a bit off the street but you will see a small sign directing you there.

Enjoy Amman!

Agree on the Crowne Plaza for location and amenities.

Hi Omar,

Thank you for responding

Are you agreeing with JAC747 that the Intercontinental is a better location or disagreeing with him(her)?

I guess I misread that (brain fart) sorry.... I stayed at the Crowne Plaza and was pleased with it. But if the Intercontinental does have those within walking distance, it sounds appealling.
Of course, if you could go outside Amman, and stay by the Dead Sea, that in my opinion would be the best experience....
