Overnight @ DCA
I'm arriving into DCA at 00:15am on a Sunday morning, and departing at 10:00am the same day. Can anyone recommend a hotel for the few hours? Preferably one that offers complimentary airport pickup until atleast 1am.

Anything in crystal city should work for you. Even if you need a taxi, its right there and shouldn't be more than ten bucks max. Priceline can be your friend here, too

Good luck.
Even the Americana Motel, which is probably the cheapest place in the area, is showing $99.
Whats the deal with PL? I would have thought that PL.UK would want your business.

Can you use Hotwire with an Irish credit card? I did a quick check of a Saturday in April and they had a 3.5* in the Crystal City/DCA zone for $77 (their star ratings tend to run a little higher than PL).

I'm seeing the Hyatt Crystal City come up at US$76 on Sidestep for a Saturday night in April -- that's really good. Bookable through the Hyatt site.
But for a few more budget options, instead of Crystal City, try the north side of Alexandria proper, about five minutes south of DCA on the GW parkway.
For a Saturday night in April:
Alexandria Travelodge: $80
Holiday Inn Alexandria: $96
Sheraton Suites Old Town: $97
The Travelodge is a little dodgy but the others are great for a fast layover. Those prices are as good as you're going to get in this neighborhood w/o resorting to Priceline.
All quotes from Sidestep.com.

I'll looking for May 2nd for 1 night. I'll be arriving at 00:15 on May 3, and leaving at 10:00a on May 3 too. By doing some searching it's not recommended to stay in the airport.

You can get the Courtyard at Crystal City for $89 on that date. (Book arrival May 2, departure May 3.) That ought to be fine, and be advised it's a very good deal relatively speaking. Book at courtyard.com.
There is no such thing as a sub-$50 bargain motel, hostel, etc. in the general precinct of DCA.
