Hudson Valley accommodation help

Husband and I seeking lovely inn or larger B&B in mid-Hudson Valley area (or lower is possible).

Anyone stayed at Journey's Inn B&B, Buttermilk Falls, Caldwell House, Beekman, Cromwell Manor? If you have, would you recommend?

Mohonk Mountain House is booked for our dates.

Thank you!

I am not familiar with any of them (except Mohank house).

Your best bet would be www.tripadvisor.com

I have actually spent a lot of time on tripadvisor. com and gotten some ideas. Seems like the more recommended inns have the lowest scores.

Anyone else have a suggestion?

Stayed at Journey Inn for a romantic weekend back in Feb 2001 with my GF at the time. Cozy and very homey. It snowed over night and was treated to an idyllic winter setting. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic. Stayed at the tuscany room, but were the only ones in residence at the time, so we were able to see the other rooms.

Great place overall. Very quiet and close to CIA, FDR Memorial, & Vanderbilt Mansion.

Recommended it to my cousin's parents to stay in when they attended the Vassar Graduation. They booked the Vanderbilt Suite and raved about their stay.
