BWI to IAD?

Hi,
I'm just wondering if there are any way to go from BWI to IAD? I don't think IAD & BWI's busses visit each other's airports do they? :-) The reason I'm asking is I'm renting a car and have a coupon that will give me some free days, and it so happen that I may want to change my flight plans from departing from BWI to departing frrom IAD. However the coupon will not let me drop the car off at IAD...
Thanks!

The two airports are in competition, and as far as I know, public transportation between BWI & IAD is not direct. One can get to DC by train. Then to Vienna Va by metro, and to the airport by Flyer. May take all day to do this. Taxi can run $100 with a little traffic.

Dulles has Greyhound service, but I don't know if it goes to DC.

Rent another car for an hour, and drive.

Try calling Super Shuttle at 800-BLUE-VAN. They serve all DC area Airports. Not sure if they have service between BWI-IAD but I bet they can assist you.

In this case, don't necessarily believe what the coupon says. The major car rental companies consider BWI, DCA, and IAD to be one location and the dropoff will probably be permitted. Only the minors such as Thrifty will not permit the change in airports. Call your rental car company to verify.

Already thought of that--I asked the car rental agency (Avis) about that and they said no. But I'll try again one or two more times and see what they say. FYI, the coupon I have is from UA, given to me when I upgraded with miles a trip. I've done the switch from BWI to DCA before, but not with coupon.

But thanks for the suggestion!

UA_Eagle -- You may want to try Alamo, as (at least in the past) they charged no extra for renting at IAD and returning at BWI.
