BUF - at airport, one hour enough before morning flight?

The B6 flight is scheduled to take off from BUF at 8:40 am.
Onn-line checkin done.
Is it too late to be in terminal at 7:30 am?
it's a Tuesday.
Thanks

If it’s a purely domestic US trip with no checked-in luggage at BUF during an average Tuesday-Thursday, then being at the airport at 7:30am for an 8:40 departure should be easily fine.

im a buffalo native….

Pre 8 am security lines can be a big line. Ive had some lines take 45 min.

behind security the airport is small with 6 gates to the left and rest to the left so you can get to the gate in 10 minutes post security.

By around 8am Tuesday to Thursday, the lines are usually a lot shorter/faster than during the time when people are trying to make the pre 8am departures.

I’ve done departures at 6 am when TSA hasn’t opened all the lines yet. The problem is, and I’ve run into this multiple times. Due to crew rest rules I’ve had planes delayed e en when some are listed as “ cancelled” but it still operates. Your airline has a delay it gets cascading effects into first or the morning hub flights.

I’ve gone in/ out mid afternoon and it can be nothing for wait times. It depends on the flight schedules and what’s scheduled to depart around the same time.
