Hotels with pool open in DC area?
Does anyone know of a hotel with open pool in DC area (40-60min driving range is ok)? I've been calling around and didnt come across any. Is it a government mandate perhaps?

Hi,
I have tried several hotels that I have stayed at in the past ( ie Hilton Dulles airport, Marriott key bridge) but they say the pools are closed
However, the Marriott Crystal City @ Regan National airport site suggests their pool is open ( ie M-TH 2pm to 9pm and Fri-sun 10am to 10pm) but reservations are needed and capacity is limited. I would still call to confirm as policies could change
Details are here ( under property amenities)

DC is at 25% of capacity and headed to 50%. So, it certainly is not a government regulation issue. But, the rules do mean that the property has to carefully track numbers -- usually with a reservation system.
I would not rely on websites or central reservations for information. A direct call to the property is a good idea.
