I understand what you are saying now. Sometimes there's an over-caffeinated TSO who likes to repeat the most basic announcements over-and-over. That can happen at any TSA checkpoint.

Yesterday I looked at the long line at the Diamond checkpoint and decided to go through the regular security checkpoint on the east (United) side.
Probably a bad decision.
It took a full half hour, in the "elite" line.

For this reason, if the Diamond Checkpoint is unavailable, I use the West Security Hall whenever possible.
