Cancun for a week in late May
My friends and i are planning a trip to Cancun in May from Minneapolis (MSP), we would like to leave around the 19th and spend a week there, so come back on the 26th. An all-inclusive hotel/resort would be a bonus. I have been looking around and it looks like it would cost about $800-1000 per person, for 4 of us, i was hoping it would be about 800, but the hotels i get have pretty low ratings.
Anyone have any suggestions as to where i should be looking? Is it better to find cheap airfare then find a hotel? or book it all together through an agent or as a package on a website?

$800/week is just over $100/night. IME, $100/night hotels aren't the most luxurious, so you get what you pay for.
I'm guessing you're going for a university spring break -- check out student travel packages to economize.

$100 a night target for all-inc. is a pretty lofty goal, even for Cancun. Try some of the package agencies, ie. Funjet, Worry-Free, ATA.
