Priority lane queues at CUN?
Hello,
I have a large group booking that gets the priority lane for a trip to CUN next month (United Group bookings get priority lane access). Has anyone seen excess queues at the priority lane at that airport? Planning to have the group arrive 2.5-3 hours ahead of departure, but I have seen some reports of extremely long lines at CUN recently although I'm assuming that is for the general checkin and likely due to the end of holiday rush.

I got stuck in a two hour document queue for JetBlue last Monday in CUN. My friends were flying United first class and indicated that they were able to sail through relatively quickly.
They waited well over an hour in customs arriving into Cancun but did not have any difficulty in leaving Cancun.

I just flew out of CUN. Lines are long to check in at ticket counters for document verification. If possible, check in online/app or use a kiosk. The document verification can be done at the gate if you have no checked bags.
Security checkpoint lines outbound are generally efficient. They want to get you through quickly to have more time to shop. Similar to LHR and MAD, they do not post the departure gate assignments until 60 minutes before departure, in order to keep everyone exposed to the "retail environment" as long as possible to maximize revenue.
Two other recommendations:
1) Have your Vuela Seguro QR code ready if they are scanning them at the checkpoint. Sometimes they do, and other times they don't. You need to complete the form online within 12 hours of flight departure time. Do it BEFORE arriving at the airport, and then screenshot the QR code, since the airport WiFi is not the best, and you might not have cellular data reception.
2) Don't lose your stamped immigration (FMM) departure card! By law, you must surrender it to the gate agent at the moment of boarding. Replacing a lost card is a huge hassle and expense.

Thanks, have added the FMM exit card to the list (forgot about that part and glad you reminded me of it!). Unfortunately, United in their infinite wisdom has decided that groups cannot upload test results to the app per the group reservation agent (I'll give it a shot the day before, but I fully expect them to have to verify at the airport) and as a group reservation we cannot check in online because reasons so we must check in at the counter. At least they give us priority access for that!
