Covid testing in Oaxaca?

Hello,

We are staying at the Holiday Inn in Oaxaca in November and speak minimal Spanish. Does anyone know if it's easy to get a Covid test in the historic center?

Thank you!

look for the pharmacy "Farmacias de Ahorro" nationwide pharmacy chain, offering PCR and antigen tests for usually $300 - $350mxn - about $15 to $20usd. Results in 20 minutes and accepted for travel to the US. Also try Laboratorios Galindo (no idea what they are charging). Since OAX is an international airport with flights to the US you might check with them if they are offering the tests; if yes, they will probably be a little more expensive than at a local pharmacy.

Farmacia del Ahorro are the way to go, very quick turnaround and no need to pre-book. Not all of them do the Covid tests; the two most central ones that do have testing are Coln and Las Casas, both quite convenient from the city center hotels.

Thanks for the info! Perfect timing as I was literally just revisiting this topic this morning for our trip next week. Can't wait!
