Yes, but keep in mind that neither I nor in the OP's case, would the length of the award certificate need to be changed. In the case of B1513 he had an 7-nights award certificate that would need to be changed to a 4-nights award certificate which may be problematic. Unfortunately we have no distinct information, just anecdotal evidence, so it is really difficulty to know what the actual policy is... perhaps the Plat CSRs are having the same problem. One can always follow the FT mantra, if you don't like the answer hang up and call back.
