I suppose there is no making us happy :p - as a Plat I got the 3rd offer, biut would have preferred one of the other ones. With those, I have an opportunity to earn something for almost any stay pattern. With mine, if I can't do 20 nites, I receive 0.

I am quite appreciative of the "double stay" promo, though.....^

I got the 25K points for 20 nights. So here is my question: do nights stayed between June 1 and June 26 count double? In other words, can I fulfill the promo with only 10 nights during the double night credit period?

Got 5k per stay starting after first stay up to a max of 15k (i.e. 4 stays = 15k points)
Bit strange as it doesn't encourage me to stay much at Marriotts... if they'd given 25k for 20 nights it might have changed my staying habits (currently spending 3 nights at hilton and 1 at Marriott per week).

Will consider writing to them and asking them to change my promo, but, for the moment probably happy as it means I only need 4 nights/stays for the free points.

Edit: Discovered I had misread the promo text, it was 5k after every second stay - so, that means 6 stays for 15k points. Definately worth changing my promo now. Apologies for the misinformation (Found out when it was added to my tracker as 6 stays 0% of the way there)

Got the 25K for 20 nights, like this one ....

In the past with Megabonus promotions diff people have been offered diff promotions but we have been able to switch our promotions amongst all the valid ones by calling Customer Service. I hope we are able to do it this time as well as I am not sure which one will be most beneficial to me at this time.

I hope that's the case this time too, I'd much prefer even a few points to a night at a catagory 1-4 that I have to use by the end of the year.

20K for 15 nights for me. I'll hit those 15 nights during the 5/11-6/26 double night promo.

Then I'll head back to SPG to pick up another 9 nights/stays at SPG, along with the three from this week, to give me a 3-day Labor Day trip (along with some expiring WN and Avis awards) and a couple of weekends in DC and Niagara Falls.

That gets me through about 7/15. After that, I don't think the SPG nights do me much good (to whoever noted "I can earn 10 nights at SPG" - are you able to use 10 nights by September? I suppose I could stay at my local Cat 3 property just for fun) and MR is maxed out, so I'm promo-less through August. I guess I'll work on the 20 nights I need to keep MR PLT for the rest of the year.

Actually, I'll probably ask to switch to the 25K for 20 nights, so I'll be in-promo until at least early August.

I do agree that 1 free night is of much less value than the other options this time through. But stuff happens. I realize it's FT-fashionable to complain, but my current MR "My Promotions" page has 5 promotions listed for me, so I have no issues.

I got the same offer, and I agree! Very WEAK! 25K after 20 nights gets me one night at a cat 5. It can get me up to 10 nights at SPG. I won't be staying much at Marriott this summer. I hear Hyatt is planning on a strong summer promo as well, might not be at Marriott at all!

Glad to have seen this thread, as I was unaware I was pre-registered for thie promo. I'm glad to see these anyway, as I am usually staying at a Marriott property, regardless.

I'm registered for the 20k for 15 nights promo - has anyone seen a smaller nights promo, or only one based upon stays? I'm thinking that I may struggle to get 15 nights, but may get 10 through 3 stays.

yeah but you MUST use those spg nights by the end of sept

so if that helps its way better, if not at least these points do not expire

by the way, I take it that these promo based nights are not using the double night qualification method
