A really nice touch from Radisson Goldpoints

Might Marriott consider the same?

There's a seat waiting for you

You're always very welcome at our hotels.

That's why, wherever you are, you can now drop into any of the 220 participating Radisson Blu, Radisson Edwardian and Park Plaza Hotels & Resorts in Europe, the Middle East and Africa and enjoy a free coffee, tea or hot chocolate for two, plus free Wi-Fi internet access.

You don't need to book a room. All you have to do is let our front-desk team know when you arrive and then sit back, relax, sip your coffee and perhaps do a little work, or maybe meet a friend...

This is a new, exclusive benefit for Silver Elite card holders. To make sure you enjoy all your Elite benefits remember to visit goldpointsplus.com

Its one way to get people into your hotels..... doesn't McDonalds offer this service for a couple of bucks though

Wouldn't impress me anyway, its something I would never use (unless in some form of serious shortage of drinks in a strange country where I coincidentally happened to be passing a hotel after being mugged and therefore not having any money!)

I think its a great gesture from Radisson. I would love to see Marriott implement something similar.
Kudos to Radisson for coming up with a useful benefit that departs from the norm. ^

This is a very generous benefit. Marriott doesnt even offer free Wi-Fi to elites staying with them.

Note that at most non-FS hotels, internet is free to everyone.

Personally, I think this is an interesting offer. It really doesn't cost the hotel much, if any, money and it has a potential to garner some good will along with a little product differentiation.

It's no so much about shortage of drinks or being mugged but rather the thought that counts from Radisson. As hhoope01 points out it will probably not cost much, but will generate goodwill and keep the brand foremost in our minds.

As it happens I need to hang around Heathrow tomorrow for half an hour. Instead of McD I might try out Radisson. In return I may well spend a couple of hundred pounds with them on my business trip.

Have to agree.

Having recently dropped from Gold to Silver I was ready to say goodbye to Radisson but this gesture may make me think twice.

Good for them I say. ^
