Taste of Elite....
Has anyone else been offered this promotion?
Apparently, I'm being teased with Gold Elite status (the figurative carrot on a stick) in an effort to have me stay 12 nights between May 1st and July 31st. If I can do that, my Gold status will be renewed until Feb 2011.
Now, if I can only figure out how to get in 12 nights within the alotted time
I'm sure going try...that's only 6 weekends somewhere
Of course, I've got to somehow convince the wife to go along with the plans

As longtime Silver I checked into a Courtyard on Monday and they greeting me as Gold. I couldn't figure out why until I got that promotion in the mail today. 12 nights in 3 months with part during the summer will be difficult for me...
