Adding Additional Name to Award Reservation
I booked a 7 night award in Cancun and it looks like I won't be able to make it. Can I just add my brother's name to the reservation and have him take the room? I've done this with paid stays in the past, but I wanted to make sure it would work for an award reservation (paper cert has mine name on it).

What jan_az says is probably the safest route, but I've not had any issues with family members using awards under my name in the past.

thanks for the responses guys. I'll have the award re-issued in his name and then add my name to the reservation so he can have a chance at my gold benefits.

Hopefully he will get those -
I had a reward reservation under my daughters name using my DH points. Their last names are not the same. He is PP. She was treated like "royalty".
