Rough Week for Marriott Walnut Creek, CA

Just had to vent some about my current stay at the Marriott Walnut Creek, CA which this is my 4th week there and up and until now I had no problems.

1) Checked in and got to my room, whatever was behind the wall where the headboard is was so load the wall vibrated. So I went down and switched rooms.

2) Got the the room and the internet was down, I reported it and reported it again the next morning. Got back from work and the internet worked for abotu 20 mins. Reported it again and switch rooms as I needed a connection to work and did not want to sit in the c-lounge.

3) Same deal with the internet. Worked for about 20 mins then down. Reported it and was told since the wirless router was in a guest room, they couldn't go to work on it until after the guest left. (reasonable answer) The internet of course does work in other parts of the hotel such as the loung and in the lobby. Also, couldn't get even lukewarm water in the bathroom.

Through all this the staff was very polite but at this point I am very frustrated by this experience especially since I will be coming here for several more weeks. Should I report this all to the Hotel GM, directly to Marriott or both?

I think they need to be moving that router if it is actually in a guest room.

That is just poor planning and placement.

I would recommend you have a conversation with the Hotel GM immediately. You are a very frequent guest.... and they need to know they are not meeting your basic needs.

No Internet and no hot water? Move rooms. Again. Don't settle until you get a room that is comfortable and has no maintenance issues.

Be sure and report the maintenance issues to the front desk before you ask to move. It is possible you may get a MR point gift for the inconvenience.
