Can I correct a wrong posting of points?

My colleague made my reservation for me and somehow her reward# was placed on the resv. Is there any way I can get this corrected by showing that she and I had stayed in the same hotel at the same time?

Yes, you should be able to get this cleared up pretty quickly. Please contact Marriott Rewards to have it resolved. As long as your stay is eligible for credit and billed in your name, they will be able to add the stay for you. In most cases they can look the stay up for you over the phone, but hang on to your hotel bill just in case.

Kind regards,

Marie

You can submit a missing stay through the "missing stay form" online, by accessing your account, or if you had the bill sent to you as an e-folio (e-mail format) you may forward that e-mail to [email protected].

If it was a domestic stay within the last 60 days the quickest option would be to contact a Marriott Rewards CSR. They will be able to take care of the stay over the phone.

Kind regards,

Marie

Hello,

Just to clarify; the e-mail address mentioned above is for forwarding an e-folio sent to you by e-mail only. This would not be an option if you only have a scanned pdf or jpeg copy of the hotel bill. In this case the best thing to do is to contact us via the "contact link" from Marriott.com, or call in to speak with a Marriott Rewards CSR. As mentioned before in most cases they can look up the stay for you right over the phone, so there would be no need to send anything into us.

Kind regards,

Marie

Why do most Marriotts (outside the US) not have e-folios? I had problems with points posting for a stay at Courtyard Hong Kong and even after faxing in the hotel bill nothing posted...

Hello,

Our E-folio system is fairly new and currently doesn't support all hotels. I agree it would be nice to have E-folio access from all of our properties. Thank you for you suggestions, we are always looking for ways to improve.

About your missing stay; you should contact Marriott Rewards, so that a CSR can take care of having your stay added.

Kind regards,

Marie
