Someone explain the room type guarantee for me
I reserved a room with one queen bed. I was given a room with 2 queen beds. I was told that there were no more single queen rooms available when I checked in.
Manager was never in the office when I was there, so I emailed her and she told me that because I was in a room with queen beds, then my bed type was delivered to me as promised.
Not a huge deal, but if I reserve a room with 1 bed, and get a room with 2 of the same type, I guess that doesn't constitute a violation of the room type guarantee. Or is this manager incorrect?

Hi Jason,
I would say that you got more than you requested ... after all, aren't 2 queens better than just the one?
So I would agree with the manager on this one, they deliver your preferred bed type. Now, if they had swapped a reserved 1 King room for a room with 2 queens, then you would have a case.
