Bangkok: J.W. Marriott, Sathorn Vista or Courtyard

I'm looking for a LNF... Rates I see on Marriott.com for 28Jan-1Feb are (all (sans internet and breakfast):

Sathorn Vista Exec. Apartments: 3500 ThB ($106)/night

J.W. Marriott: 4720 ThB ($143)/night

Courtyard: 2719 ThB ($83)/night

I typically Priceline my hotel stays, but since the rates in the Sukhumvit zone have gone up quite a bit and that zone has the JW Marriott, Westin Grande, and Sheraton Grande, I figured I better look into other options for this trip. Thanks in advance for your help.

Thanks! Glenn is the best. Not quite what I intended, but a really nice option! Thanks a lot!

Hello. Was suggested by someone in my need assistance thread for a long term stay that I attempt to get an LNF rate for our situation.

Mother-in-law is exiting Stanford soon after a very complicated surgery. Will need to stay close to Stanford for at least 30 days, probably longer.

Found, and would like to stay at the Residence Inn Los Altos.

Was quoted $119 a night for a 1-bedroom suite.

Probably checking in next Tuesday or Wednesday (Jan 26 or 27), staying for approximately 1-2 months.

Sorry to barge in MKUX3, and don't take this the wrong way - I am by no means pestering you. If you read through the previous pages you will see that there are several regular posters out there willing to help out, so you can assume that if no one replied, it is because they did not find a LNF rate, not because they ignored your post. Sometimes it just isn't possible :( and you have to try to save another way. I suggest waiting a bit more for a code to appear that is valid for May, and pre-booking a cancellable rate.

Correct on all counts :D

OK, here are my reservations; I think I've got the best rates but I know that there are many who are much more savvy than me.

21-22 Jan Sonoma Ren $199 with $100 resort credit
22-23 Jan Sonoma Ren $249 with $100 resort credit (I had to split the reservations to get the resort credit rate; my wife will easily burn thru $200)
23-24 Jan Napa Marriott $169 regular rate
24-25 Jan San Francisco JW $166 government rate
10-12 Feb Meadowlands Ren $130 government rate
12-14 Feb NYC Marriott Marquis $209 government rate

Thanks in advance.

Looking at Courtyard Paris Neuilly for 2 nights Feb 27-Mar 1, one bedroom suite for 159.20 euros/night on the Global Rate Break. Any better prices would be appreciated.
Thanks

Looking for a LNF for the Marriott Berlin

6-25 through 6-28

best I can find is 139 EUR per night (refundable), but Hilton is offering 112 EUR with Breakfast.

Smart Shopper Jan 22, 2010 9:36 pm

For those who search: Marriott's publicly available rate is € 159.

While I am here: Hilton's "January Sale" € 112 rate is not refundable as Marriott's € 127 rate is.

 and your point is what? I don't need a refundable rate for the stay, but for LNF I prefer refundable. Bottom line, I need a sub-159 EUR rate for the Marriott.

You confused me and maybe others too!

Please mind that LNF guarantee works for the best publicly available rate on the room of your choice and not for the best rate you found. If you don’t express that the € 139 rate you have referenced I suppose you are talking about best publicly available rate and I would not name any find above € 139.

Finally, for someone who will assist you, it’s utterly irrelevant if Hilton offers a room for € 112. If someone comes across a lower rate than € 159, LFN Rate would be lower than € 119.25. It’s up to you, if you submit the claim, book the Hilton at a non-refundable rate inclusive breakfast for € 112 or decide to stay somewhere else.

 yes, I know very well how LNF works  but thanks for insulting me  Most of us have options and Elite status with more than 1 hotel chain; sorry for mentioning what my options outside of Marriott look like
