Looking for a LNF rate on the JW Grosvenor House in London for 1 night 9 Dec
Marriott .com showing as 305.00 GBP including taxes for a non-refundable rate I've actually found a 3rd party site which prices to 291.82 GBP but, amazingly, I'd only lose £30 for a cancellation before 5 Dec so although the conditions are better than those at Marriott I'm guessing they won't honor the LNF promise. All help gratefully received. Thanks. |
Perhaps......but why don't you try it anyhow as NOTHING to lose since you're still w/i CXL ability if you find better.....

I hadn't realized (at the time of posting) that you still get 24hrs to cancel even on non-refundable bookings. I'll report back on the outcome...but I'm not over-hopefull! |
Nothing ventured.......nothing gained.....and the LNF team does not always check CXL policy differences....

By now since the LNF team gets several if not hundreds of LNF claims daily I would expect them to have a master list of voucher sites to refer to and enable them to quickly determine that a claim can be denied because it uses a voucher and then they can reply with a "canned" speel....
I'm sure that several intl folks maintain their own list of such sites....

True...but I was declined. I'd searched and searched the 3rd party website for a mention of a 'voucher' and couldn't find it so I thought I'd be ok...but Marriott's LNF team did find a mention of a voucher (clearly they're better at this than I am!) so it's a no-go.

Trip Cancelled Please disregard
