I haven't had much luck getting them. For me it appears to be based on the hotel. In NYC I got them about a month later. Several other hotels I never got them at all. It really helps to get them for the 'ol expense account.
Also - Avis rental car has a good recently implemented e-receipt process too. They are trying harder!!!

I don't get why they don't make the reciepts available online like Hilton. Seems like an afterthough.

E-Receipts delivery time depends on the Marriott brand
Many of the CY and FI properties seem to post stays and send the receipt in email within 2-3 days of the stay, sometimes faster.
MI (FS) hotels take FOREVER to both post stays and to send the e-receipt.
Anyone else had this experience?

What i really want is a .pdf to attach to my Electronic expense report and be done with it....
What really annoys me, is when the email doesn't come and I had to call. I got transfered 5 times, and they finally told me they could only fax it.

Of course the fax never came, i didn't wait for it anyway, i called right back and after 3 transfers had it emailed again.

Yes, but its the other ten percent that can be a problem. I stayed at the FI / GSP on November 19; never received the e-mail. However, a call to the hotel produced a fax in three minutes. No big deal, but the lack of consistency can be irritating.

CY - Folio received & points posted within 2 days
TPS - Folio received & points posted within 2 days
FS - Folio received in 2 days. Points haven't posted yet.
Both the CY & the TPS were newer properties and overall service was very good.

How long do the hotels keep the folio from a past stay? How do they keep it? Hard copy? Electronic copy?
I called up MR Customer Service for a copy of a past stay, and they told me they couldn't do anything and I had to call the hotel. I called the hotel to ask them to FAX or email it to me, and they said I needed to FAX in a copy of my ID before they would send it to me. I didn't have a readily available copy that I could FAX in, and of course I was concerned about identity theft. I suppose I could mask my ID # by crossing it out the # before I FAX, but this seems like waaay too much work for something that should be a lot simpler.
