Email Problems with Marriott

Over the years I have had difficulties getting all emails from Marriott. Interestingly enough I receive ALL confirmations and folios, but rarely receive any of the other corespondance.

eBreaks - actually received one this week, haven't in months.
Announcements - Never (including the EEO accouncement)
etc...

I have switched email addresses to no avail, and it currently goes to my corporate email (which I am the admin). It isn't a spam issue.

Anyone else have this problem? I only seem to get the blow off when I try support on this issue...

Jonathan, Jonathan, Jonathan... you haven't figured it out by now? Marriott doesn't want you to book any of those deals it talks about. They want you to book those full price rooms. Why should they do anything nice for the customer during these times of high profits and possibly slow down the flow of huge profits into their overflowing pockets. They are on course for 3/4 of a billion dollars profit for this year, please dont bring up the archaic concept of helping the customer.

FWIW, I too have signed up for those emails ebreaks, etc. and have NEVER received 1 of them. We are after all dealing with the Marriott IT department which can't even get their web pages rendered properly on IE7.

I get the eBreaks offers regularly. I haven't had any problems receiving them. *shrug*

Yeah dude, I have to agree ;-)

Many of my coworkers receive them without problems (or I hear about the email on FT).

I am beginning to understand why they took out the old "Spirit to Serve" book from the room, because it is obviously no longer applicable to today. Instead we'll give you some cute little antadotes to make you feel better about all the crap they are pulling.

Last time I received eBreaks was on November 27. After several empty weeks I double and triple checked my settings at Marriott.com, changed several addresses to no avail. Gave up.

I get at least one e-mail a week, sometimes two from Marriott.
