Look No Further - using multiple competitors?

Hello everyone.

I've had a number of successful claims using Marriott's 'Look No Further' best rate guarantee but wondered if anyone with a bit of inside knowledge could assist me (socrates and inside_edition possibly ).

I'm looking at 4 nights, 23-27 May 2007 at the Prague Renaissance. Ebookers have the first 2 nights significantly less than on Marriott.com and Expedia have the last 2 nights for a similar rate. In the past, I have made 2 reservations and submitted 2 claims and then had the 2 reservations joined together when the claims have been agreed. Is it possible to make just one reservation and then quote the 2 separate competitor rates in the LNF claim?

Thanks in advance.

IMO I dont believe 1 reservation would qualify but that's just my logic, I honestly have no inside guidence to provide

I've had to do the same in making 2 separate reservations for the same hotel.

I tried to have a rate approved based on two websites but was denied. I was asked to resubmit the claim individually based on the nights as found on each competing website. In doing so each was approved.

Unfortunately, the requests must be the same through all sites. That is, if you request (or reserve) four nights with Marriott, your comparison must be four nights. If some of those four nights are lower than the Marriott rate, they will approved them on those nights.

If the only way to get it is to make two reservations, that's a bummer but that's how it has to be. Usually you can have the front desk make consecutive stays in the same room.

Yeah, I thought as much. Its no problem making 2 reservations - I've done it before and had them joined together.

Thanks again.
