Quick ways to Gold?
Currently I am a Marriott Silver with 24 nights this year.
I would like to make the next level.
Are there any fast track ways for individuals to make the next level up without staying the full 50 nights a year?

Some persons have been successful in getting Marriott to match mid and top level elite status from one of the other major hotel chains and there have been some here who have mentioned a "fast track" offer from Marriott before. A really good place to start your search for status matching might be Hotel Status Match Master Thread. Next, you might try a search of this, the Marriott, forum with the terms "fast" and "track" and you should also find some good information.
Also, the new Marriott Premier Signature VISA card will add 15 nights per year toward your next elite level. Info on it can be found on marriott's website.

I think Marriott has a rolling tier qual., too - so you are not necessarily pinned to the end of year.

You can obtain status via rolling tier. That is what I was advised when I called.

If you stay 20 nights in dec and than 30 in jan-may you would than be up to gold bc you hit 50 nights within a 12 month span
