Elite Offers
Just noticed that they have not (as of yet) renewed the elite offers online
Here is hoping that they do!

Elite "cupboard is bare"
I thought I was the only one who noticed that. After months, months, and months of not having any use for the elite offers, the weekend I finally wanted to take advantage, they had all expired. Fortunately, I found a sympathetic manager who agreed to honor my "late great" certificate!

Just checked and nothing... You would think they would be on top of that! All the old offers expired on Sept. 15th.. I see they at least deleted the old ones..

The summer miles promo ended Sept 15 and the new miles promo (double points when paying with Visa) is beginnng Oct 1. Maybe the elite offers will follow the same timeline and show up soon...

Here is hoping they show up this week. I have a reservation I really needed them on, but I guess I would have to use a bonus buck if it doesn't happen. Last quarter they went down one day and were up by midnight. Everyone was very complimentary on them being on there game. To bad that wasn't presidence. :-(

Really Disappointed
Still nothing (really thought it would show up today). Guess I will be SOL for the weekend.
Called elite line, and they haven't published the fall list of participants yet, so it doesn't look good ;-(

Marriott certainly has every right to change, modify, or discontinue any and all aspects of their rewards programs as they see fit. If indeed, they've opted to discontinue the free weekend night thingy, I'll miss it, but that's fine.
What would be nice is giving some prior notice to their best customers that a popular and longstanding program is being discontinued. Its simply the touch of class that one would expect from Marriott.

Gardener....
Good point! I hope you're right. Funny, I almost never had occasion to use this little perk...I just enjoyed having the option.

I certainly hope they resurrect EEOs, particularly what I consider the prime ones the "pay for one weekend night/receiveone weekend night at no charge" at FS Marriotts and Rens -
And when they do I'd like to see them include with the Ts and Cs printed on the reverse instructions to the Front Desk regarding proper handling/coding so as to achieve the advertised results - no room charges for the second weekend night.
It seems like on three of every four times I've presented this coupon the person checking me seemed to be at a loss as to what to do with it.
Then it's a crapshoot as to whether the final folio will be correct and how much time will be spent if correction/crediting is required.
(Some have even been misplaced so I make it a habit to always carrying a printout of the online version from marriottrewards.com.)

I wouldn't panic: we've had lapses in the EEO booklets before. I don't recall last year specifically, but I even think that right about now was an "EEO gap" as well.
My guess is that it's planned: since this is a recurring operational process for Marriott at this point, I don't think there are big unplanned timeline slips in the creative, production, and distribution process of the mail drop.
I agree with rahman: I wish the front desk was more familiar with the correct processing of these certs (and the Premium Pounds / Bonus Bucks as well).
