Points not posting recently
In many years, nearly every stay has posted within a few days. Now, in the past 6weeks, I've had to fax requests for Frankfurt Courtyard and Jerusalem Renaissance, and now, most recently, looks like I'm going to have to do the same for Hollywood Beach Marriott (checkout over 2weeks ago). All these have been booked on-line directly through the web site, and my details haven't changed.
A couple of other stays have credited properly (US Courtyards) in this time period.
Anyone else seeing this?

I have not had any problems with points posting to my account. You may have hit a rough patch with your recent experiences, but I know some people have complained that non-American properties tend to be slower in posting points. I have no personal experience with this since I have stayed only at Marriotts in the United States.

I think the Rewards activity has been extremely high due to the end of Mega-Bonus. This may have delayed things a bit. I had to call and get my 20th stay added 2 weeks after the stay to get Mega Bonus and that was a US hotel and I am in the US.

My stays have been taking about 8 days to post. The slowest ever. My past experience has always been 4 days max.

My last two stays, both at a Courtyard in the US posted within 4 days of my checkout. The last one was a stay that ended on May 14th and has been posted since before last weekend.
I would add that in the past my US stays tend to post within a week and my non-US have taken upwards of 2 weeks to post. Since the OP also has had Courtyard stays post normally, maybe there is an issue only with certain Marriott chains? Or more likely, just a busy time and the hotels maybe a little behind in getting the points registered.

I just faxed one in for a stay early in May.... That was unusual as I have made gold off this hotel and this is the first one they missed.

I have had to fax in 4 missing stay requests this year and 3 last year.
The hotels I have had problems with vary from Marriott resorts to Fairfield Inns to Courtyards--there seems to be no set pattern except that the Marriott corporation is not doing a good job at keeping up with it's rewards program. I usually wait 12-15 business days before faxing in the missing stay request. I have also had to fax the request in 2-3 times on two occasions. I would give them a week, then fax it again again and mention on the fax that this is the second request.
I can't explain it, but I have watched it closely to insure the proper points are posted.
I enjoy staying at Marriott's, but this is an area of service that they could improve on.

This just happened to me after a DC Marriott stay. It's a pain in the neck.

I've had 2 missing stays in the past 8 weeks. Very normal, U.S. full-service Renaissance stays, direct-booked via Marriott.com. One of them they eventually got right. The other I'm still about 4400 points short, and I've just given up. I write emails that get completely misinterpreted, forwarded to tech support, or just plain ignored. I've faxed as well. The stay was posted one day as a negative amount. Then the next day posted as a positive amount, with some random adjustment added, then the negative one was removed but my point value didn't change. Total mess...at the end of it all, I'm still short but I don't care.
In the previous 3-4 years, they've only jacked up once, and that time I know exactly what happened: an MVCI property incorrectly thought I was on an ineligible timeshare promo rate. (That one was easily fixed with 1 fax to Marriott Rewards.)
The past two months seems different. System problems. It's annoying.

Glad to know it's not just me then. Waiting on 2 Renaissance stays, will have to fax shortly. As Fripp mentions above, will give it a few more days first I guess.
Is there any limit on how long I can wait? Obviously not years, but if I wait a month then there still should not be a problem, right? I'd rather not waste my money on an international fax, and it sounds like email is not likely to work properly.

While some improvement is needed in this area, I think the problem is at the individual property level rather than Marriott corporate, although corporate is responsible for making and enforcing policy.
My own personal experience has been that all stays have posted in a timely manner over the past year including Vail, LAX Ren, numerous properties in PHX, LAS JW, Garmisch Ren, Heidelberg, JW Ihilani, DFW South, JAX CY, Breakenridge VC, MKE and Curacao. Generally posting can take up to 2 weeks for US properties, although most post within 5 days. Friday's check-outs from the PHX Marriott and PHX Residence Inn both posted today. International properties can take up to a month. I think the reason for this is that at some international properties they batch transmit their info once a month in an attempt to save time/money (just a guess). After waiting 2 weeks for US and 1 month for International, I would call MR customer service if your points have not posted.
In previous years my experiences with posting problems have been isolated to international properties and it required a call to MR customer service. With the new e-folio, I would check with the CSR and see if you can email them that info directly as opposed to a fax, if the international cost is too high.

Please don't start me on this. I find MR poor at best and this year they have been truly awful.
3 of my last 4 stays have failed to post and I have 4 stays this year that have posted, but not included my platinum arrival bonus.
The sheer awfulness of their points posting system is driving me towards Hilton.

I had a stay at the New York Marriott Marquis post today. The stay ended on the 27th of May. Most of my stays take 3-10 business days to post, but YMMV.

I've had to fax in my invoices from my last four stays at the Renaissance Heathrow. (All in the last six weeks or so.) Perhaps there's a system problem or something?
