Question on Customer Service Error with Points
If a rep accidently post a significant amount of points in error, can those points be reversed? Or would I be able to keep them?

Good recovery (editing) from your original post.
Anyway, my opinion is that if it is a honest mistake by the Marriott rep (I am sure that it is), then you should not be allowed to keep the points. It would be interesting if you quickly use the points (not advocating this) to see how Marriott would be able to get the points back.

They just can't put a negative amount on my account can they? Suspend my account? Would be helpful if someone on the inside (Marriott) can shed some light.
