Marriott Web site TOO Difficult!

The former website (changed about 4 months ago was so easy to navigate. Now with IE, all gets lost when I go back, foward or multiple windows. Anyone else?

The settings for "Cookies" doesn't remember your information as you move backwards and forwards in the Website........ this has been a problem with Marriott.com forever, just more troublesome lately....

I hate it when it says "Start Over" when using the back button while trying different dates, rates, etc.

Its basic functionality is still way better than Hilton.com IMHO.

Yes, this is a real PITA
I also noticed that in the last few weeks, there have been quite a few times when only the text of the page loaded and the whole thing looked like some wordprocessing horror show. Maybe it was just my PC, who knows.

I don't notice a difference at all...I say leave it as is. Change is tough to take folks, fortunately we humans can adapt and learn. Oop, gotta run...my fire pit in the backyard is about to go out and last time it took me two weeks of rubbing sticks together getting it relit.

Change is always tough, I agree. And when it's change for the sake of change, then it makes as much sense as the Pontiac Aztek. On the other hand, when change involves moving from rubbing sticks to electronic ignition for the grill, now that's a real change that's good ^ Can't say that about the new and improved Marriott site, though.

It's Broke - Fix it - Please?

Technologically speaking, I'm one of those people who's still wondering how they fit all those big groups inside those little radios.

So if even I think the Marriott website needs work, it must be bad!!

Not so much bad as sooo difficult to navigate with ease and speed.

And, dunno what was the problem a couple of weeks ago but when I attempted to 'find' and reserve a room at a Marriott that I've stayed in several times in the past year, the site didn't even recognize it's existance.

Thinking I had done something wrong, I did a search for all Marriott brands in that area to see if it was there. It wasn't listed. Thinking perhaps it had been sold or something, my curiosity piqued, I googled the hotel. And there it was, in living color, still a member of the Marriott community.

Now how weird is THAT?
