Work-around per aaupgrade:

1. Don't log in
2. Click on Reservations: View & Manage in the upper right corner of home page
3. Complete fields under View and Manage Reservations pane and click Find and your reservation will be displayed

Now you can actually print out a copy of your reservation on a single page;

According to GoSaints, if using the Marriott app-- it seems to be unchanged in re to seeing your reservation info as before.

Viewing res defaults to modify now?

Just noticed this starting to happen a day ago... if I go to view any of my upcoming reservations on the Marriott website, it jumps to the change/modify reservation page. The only way I can get to actually view my res detail is to 'cancel' my changes to the reservation, even though I never made any changes in the first place.

Happening on multiple computers, so seems like they broke something with the website again. Anyone else getting this?

I see what you mean. Was just trying to view my reservation rate rules and had trouble finding a way to do so since I get directed to the change screen first all the time

Marriott IT at its best once again. Workaround:
  1. Don't log in
  2. Click on Reservations: View & Manage in the upper right corner of home page
  3. Complete fields under View and Manage Reservations pane and click Find and your reservation will be displayed
Now you can actually print out a copy of your reservation on a single page; unlike the email which is 5 pages one-sided or 3 pages two-sided. FWIW, I really like the old email confirmations without all of the graphics and advertising much better.

"View/Modify" Reservation going straight to modify

Has anyone else noticed that "View/Modify" reservations does not go to the view screen? I've tested this on different browsers with the same result.

I was trying to change credit cards on upcoming stays, which has been accessible from the upper right had corner of the View Screen.

Short of calling the hotel, or changing the card at check-in, how does one change the credit card for an upcoming stay?

Maybe I'm having a brain-fart, but I just don't see any online method.

This has been going on since at least Tuesday (5/9). I needed to cancel a points reservation, and after a few hours of not being able to do so on-line, I called into the Plat line, and took care of it in < 60 seconds.

Also, I mentioned this apparent IT issue to the CSR who took my call, but she just seemed to shrug it off. I am surprised that it is still a problem.

Yes, I started a thread here the other day as well http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/marri...odify-now.html

Perhaps mods can merge them.

Good workaround. I was able to change my credit card using this method. Thanks.

Sorry, I did not see this thread though my limited search efforts.

Seems to be corrected at last. I wonder why it took so long.

Sorry, my bad. I was looking at my reservation in progress, which shows up correctly. If I click on any of my future reservations, they indeed default to edit.
