Changes to MR after merger?
Got a cryptic message from MR last week asking me to upgrade my password on the Marriott website "in preparation for the Marriott - Starwood Preferred Group merger."
Made me wonder what changes might be coming. I know very little about the SPG loyalty program, but I wonder if we'll see something like the Ritz-Carlton Rewards program incorporated into MR...
Has anyone heard/read anything to indicate what's coming?

Very little has been announced yet.
But at the very least, this benefit:
is one that SPG had forever, and seems to have been added to Marriott Rewards because of the merger.
