Marriott brands in NYC
Is it my imagine or is there literally NO Marriott of any brand above 54th Street in Manhattan?

Your imagination. Off the top of my head, the Essex House is on Central Park South.

I didn't realize Essex was a Marriott property, but it certainly didn't make any sense to me that there weren't any properties above 56th. Oddly though, when I look at Marriott's website, whether I put in my specific dates or leave them blank, the map view shows absolutely nothing above 56th or below 28th. Weird.

It used to work, refreshing automatically as you moved the map. Or at least I thought so -- I rarely use the map interface.

Refreshing automatically as you move the map makes more sense.
