Delayed Billing?
5 weeks ago I stayed at the Tegucigalpa Honduras Marriott and the charges for the stay still haven't come through on my credit card. I called Guest Services last week and the first question from the girl that I spoke to was "What country is Honduras in?" Needless to say she couldn't help me. This was my first stay at a Marriott in years and I am trying to figure out if delayed billing is a normal business practice.

No. It's not normal. Call guest services back again. Hopefully you will not get a geographically challenged phone agent the second time. (Reminds me of when the Olympics were in ATL and one of the ticket sales agents told a customer something along the lines of, "It doesn't matter if it's New Mexico or Old Mexico, we cannot sent tickets out of the country."

Thanks, I called back and got a much more helpful person. Although he was limited on what he could do since they can't view international billing details. He did call the hotel and they are researching the issue.
