Issues with Points / Stays Posting

Has anyone seen a recent increase in issues with points / stays posting within the past month? I've gone an entire year with over 100+ nights where I only had issues with 2 PAG not posting and and 1 stay not posting to the last 10 stays where 3 stays haven't posted in the 10 day period and 4 PAG not posting.

It could definitely just be a bad run lately, but don't know if others are seeing that and perhaps maybe some IT glitches happening.

Same issue here.

Probably another IT problem that will go unacknowledged for a month or so.

I've had 7 stays between now and Oct. 13. 2 stays (Atlanta Marriott, Best Road & JW Marriott D.C.) both didn't post after 15 days and I had to submit a 'Missing Stay Request'.

Those are my only 2 from all year.

Well, my DW's Chase card statement closed on Nov. 22, but the points -- including a 70K signup bonus -- have yet to post in her MR account. Points from the previous 2 months posted just fine, so we know the card is linked to the proper MR account.

We have inquiries in both to Marriott & Chase. I can't recall the last time I had an issue with Chase not promptly transmitting rewards shown on a printed CC statement, so I'm inclined to think the snag is on the MR side.

My credit card points from the same time frame are also yet to post. Got the canned response from Chase about 4-6 weeks, though in the past it was really immediate.

Surprising since I got the checkout receipts emailed to me from Marriott, but neither nights or points posted in November. Called MR and they said they never received documentation of my stays; they had to re-request from the hotels.

Survey says: it's Marriott's fault. Here's the email from them:
Dear Mrs. Beltway,

Thank you for contacting Marriott Rewards Guest Services. We appreciate the opportunity to provide you with information.

I do apologize but we are having some systems problems that are preventing these statement points from posting to your account. Marriott and Chase are working on this matter and hope to have it resolved shortly. We appreciate your patience.

Marriott values your patronage and considers it an honor to serve your travel needs. If I can assist you further, please reply to this email.

Regards,

Glad someone bumped this. I forgot to post the response I had from Marriott on Monday regarding the issue:

Thank you for contacting Marriott Rewards.

Our records indicate your stay has already posted to your Marriott Rewards account from November 14th. You can view this stay in your online account summary at MarriottRewards.com, as well as on your next statement.

In terms of your other stays, we are currently aware of a delay in points being posted to select member accounts and have logged your issue to our Technical Support team for further investigation. Points may take up to 10 days to be posted to your account. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused as we look into the issue.

If we can be of any further assistance please contact us at:

http://www.marriott.com/rewards/customer-support.mi

Thank you for choosing Marriott.

Sincerely,
Marriott Rewards Guest Services

It happened to me about 3 times over 20 stays.
the worst one was when I book an award stay once and the charged me $300 for that night. I always check it about a week after the stay and call if I see any issues.

My last statement also closed on nov 22 and no points have been posted. I sent an email to Chase a few days ago and was told I had wait for 30 days and/or contact Marriott. When I contacted Marriott, I was told to contact Chase. So I spoke with a CS rep from Chase yesterday and she gave me a canned answer again. Then I asked to speak with a supervisor who again told me to wait for 30 days. After my insistence, she called Marriott and was told that Marriott has a system issue that prevents points from posting. Any such glitches should have been communicated to all CS agents on both sides so they don't waste customers' time.
