Okay, so, for all those getting the error messages, I've got some info from my emails with Marriott CS:

First got this message:

We're sorry but this account is not eligible for this program. Please try again, or contact support for additional assistance.
Answer: you have to have an ACTIVE Facebook account, that is with at least 1 friend. As my account was essentially set up to just enter contests and such, accepted one of my friend requests and tried again. At which point I got the second error message:

Your email address was not provided. Please check your privacy settings. Contact us if you believe this is incorrect.
Answer: Apparently, those with new FB accounts need to wait 24 hours after activating (or friending their first friend, in my case) before registering.

Interesting point: you apparently can use the FB account of a friend/family member if you wish, but only one MR account can use each FB account. I do not know, however, if a MR account can be linked to more than 1 FB account.

I was able to get access about 12 hours after getting my first "friend" on Facebook.

Now I'm maintaining a spreadsheet to keep track of my Likes.

That's correct.

Thank you for all of your information and help. It looks like the Renaissance Arlington Capital View has the following twitter URL: https://twitter.com/RenArlington

Has anyone actually gotten any points yet? I went a bit overkill and did like 10 things all in a few minutes last week. Nothing yet. Maybe I have to wait a week?

I did a hashtag and it did post the 25 points. All likes will take a week.

Thanks for the active account tip, added a friend on the wife's unused account and liked 8 things too

So if you "Like" a hotel page for say 2 weeks, unlike it, and then like it again, do you get the points for Liking it again?

I created a new FB page just now with no friends. I had no issue registering for the promo, however upon liking a few of the participating hotel pages I have not received the confirmation email

There's a cap of 2k points per 30 days, so if you already liked 8 pages you're done for the month.

There are enough Hotel Pages on Facebook to like them all just once in the 5-6 month period (since it ends in 5.5 months, the max number of points starting today would be 2k*5=10k)

Does anyone know if this is per 30 days or per a calendar month?

Terms say 30 days, but try a hashtag at the beginning of June. If I get it despite earning 2k already in May, then it's cal, otherwise, it's definitely coded as 30 days

I just had my first batch of emails come through today after liking/following some of the pages ~3 days ago. I got emails for likes of renaissance/autograph collection main pages and twitter follows of individual properties, but not facebook likes of the individual properties. Suffice it to say, I think they are still working out some of the kinks with this program.

Thanks for the report. I haven't gotten any emails yet and thought there may be problems with my registration. I will just sit tight a while longer.

Is there any way to to know if you are actually enrolled in this program?

Also, i'm from Canada, does that matter?

I've received 25 Marriott points (so far). My account address is in Canada.
