hi,

Do all the hotels work that are shown on Plus Points webpage?

I've tried the first one and did not get any points for that.

thanks

To quote the great Gomer Pyle, "surprise, surprise, surprise." Just noticed my wife's MR account gained 1750 points today (7/29) as a result of FB activity. This, after getting several 25-point rewards in the preceding two weeks. My account got nothing and my son's account got nothing, even though I was busy liking properties for all three accounts at the same time. Go figure...

Hey,

thats because facebook "likings" got cancelled

You may not be finding the official Twitter account (or it may not be working). Here's a link to a blog post with presumably up to date information on participating properties and their links:

http://goingawesomeplaces.com/update...oints-program/

Scroll down to the pull down menu that says complete list of participating properties.

Does it have to be over exactly 24 hours to the next tweet, or is it by calendar day?

whilst I have abandoned this promo since the changes, the missing 1250 FB pts from last month appeared July 29th - so pretty happy now that I have 4k from the first 2 months.

Not really clear, but in general if you do 4 a day they will eventually post 4 regardless of timing though from experiuence should you tweet more than 4 I have on two occassions received up to 7*25 points in a calendar day.

Now at 5750 points.

what do you do as a 4th activity? I do not get any credit from following the respective hotels?

I just do 4 retweets every day!

Do four retweets work everyday? I thought you could only tweet three times
ie:
1) Love Marriott Reward Points and want more for free? http://bit.ly/LoveMarriottRewards #MRpoints #LoveMarriottRewards

2) Love Marriott Reward Points and want more for free? http://bit.ly/LoveMarriottRewards #MRpoints #AutographHotels

3) Love Marriott Reward Points and want more for free? http://bit.ly/LoveMarriottRewards #MRpoints #RenHotels

Btw. It seems like the automation takes way too much time since you have to cut and paste. I feel retweeting is the easiest way as you simply just have to search #MRpoints and then just retweet.

Suggest you look at

https://www.marriottrewardspluspoint...overview-chart

The only restriction is 100 points per day, as far as I know you can tweet the same thing 4 times to get the points, in my case I just search for #MRPoints and retweet 4 of them (occasionally a few more given I sometimes get more points). No need to overcomplicate it.

It might be the automation that is stopping you tweeting the same thing 4 times, if so you just need to slightly vary the tweet wording so they are different.

I still think automation is the way to go. There's upfront work for sure to do it but if you use a tool like Hootsuite and follow my "cheat" to get it done quickly, you literally "set it and forget it" vs retweeting which requires you to remember to do it once a day.

+1.

If you forget to tweet (or can't), you're out points now that there's a daily cap.

On autopilot, I spent some up front time setting up Hootsuite, but now I'm on auto-pilot.

While your "cheat" is relatively quick, it would be nice if there was a scheduler option so I wouldn't have to cut and paste. Oh well, it's better than nothing. I'll probably end up putting in the leg work anyway.

Thanks for the guide!

Interesting how inconsistent this is. I do it from my and my wife's account, doing exactly the same thing, but always a fewer number of activities are recorded for one of the accounts. Pretty poor show.
