Posting times much longer than normal

Has anyone else seen that activity posting times are taking much longer than normal. Points for me at least used to post 3-4 days after checkout. Now they seem to be taking at least a week or more to post. Just asking for feedback

It amazes me how airline miles can post within minutes of a flight ending and Marriott can't get them post consistently at all. Sometimes I wonder if there isn't a reasoning to the madness that Marriott isn't sharing with us.

I've noticed the exact same thing, but the only stay I've had a week+ delay on is a stay at a FS Marriott the last week of January. Other stays, including ones at that property, had been posting within a day or three.

More stays this week, in PHL and BOS, so we'll see how the point posting goes.

Mine are posting quickly. I stayed at four hotels last week. My Sunday night (PNS Beach SHS), Monday (MOB Riverview REN), Tuesday-Wednesday (CY NO Iberville) have posted, and my "Thank You For Staying" email from Thursday arrived today, although the points have not yet posted. (Jackson I55 FI).

Maybe it's a property specific issue?

My mom ended a stay on Feb 1 and got her mega bonus points but her nights/points still haven't posted. I was thinking there was a problem but this thread gives me better hope.

Aren't the points posted specifically by the property systems? The reason I say that is because I've had an issue where my points didn't post at the Guam Marriott after 18 days had passed. I submitted a 'Missing Stay Form' and then Marriott customer service called me the next day. They informed me that they called the property to verify that my bill had been closed out. They also informed me that if the points hadn't posted within 5 business days, they'd manually add them.

Generally, my points post within 3-5 days of checkout. However, in some smaller cities, I've had them post the next day.

No problems with posting-speed here - my weekly stay posts reliably the morning of the day after checkout, and the two stays at different properties this year posted within the same pattern.

Greetings - Dirk

Yes, my experience is that the variability in posting time is solely due to how on-the-ball the property is. Since I stay at the same place a lot, I've noticed that from time to time there's an extra day or two. OTOH, once the hotel transaction is posted, the Marriott side (MegaBonus, etc.) seems to post immediately.

Marriott is in the process of rolling out a new PMS across the board, so this could be the reason for the delays and failures to post recently...

There's another (recent) thread re: this & it appears there was a glitch & things are starting to post properly again.

Of course if Marriott is 'enhancing' its website again, gawd help us all

Cheers.

I've had a few take 5-7 days to post and have already had to submit a missing stay request for a one-nighter at the Renaissance Atlanta Midtown. Got the eFolio but the points never posted.

I wish Marriott would get this system in order. I feel like once the eFolio is sent, the stay should appear online.
