2 weeks & 300k points
If you had 10-14 days for vacation, and around 300k points, where would you go?
Preferably, one week in one location and the 2nd week at another location. It doesn't have to be in a different country (the two hotels), but far enough away to experience a different part of an island/country. If the 2nd location is in another country, a short flight/ferry/train ride to get there is fine. Or.....if there is a really fascinating place that would warrant 10-14 days at the same hotel, that would be great too.
I don't want to limit any possibilities simply because it may not be something we normally would have thought of ourselves, so I don't want to list too many specifics other than we would not want to go to a place where there is snow (or really cold).
I expect it will cost a few more thousand dollars beyond the 300k points.
Looking for our yearly vacation in April or late October.
We want to go somewhere that we have not been, and that means no Hawaii, Mexico, Barbados, Budapest, Amsterdam, Rome, Sorrento, Australia, Vienna, Paris, London or Ireland.
I can't wait to hear some of your fascinating vacations. Much of the travel we've done has some connection, at least in part, to the awesome information I've received on this board.
One final thing....minimum of 5 days at each location or 10 days at one location.
Thanks!
Dawn

I'd modify one of the suggestions
Singapore
to
Melaka (only need a day or two)
to
Kuala Lumpur
Or SIN/KUL in combination with Miri or Kota Bharu or mix and match.
I've stayed at the Marriott in Melaka and in Kota Bharu and they were fine. Nothing to say "wow" about but nice hotels in really interesting places.
Have fun
Cheers

Agree with the "Bangkok and beach resort" suggestion. I would suggest Bangkok and Phuket - both have multiple great Marriott properties, and you can't beat Asian service with a smile!
