We redeemed points for two travel packages over two accounts and transferred to Alaska Miles. Both times I called, the CSR said something to the effect of, "let me guess, you want to transfer to Southwest." The first CSR got a bit excited with the novelty since she'd been doing nothing but SW all week long.
I'm thrilled with this redemption and plan on using the whole thing. Alaska Miles got us five business seats on Japan Airlines from BOS-HAN with a free stopover in NRT. for 65,000 Miles each (one way). This is the start of our one year travel sabbatical this upcoming summer. I was surprised there were five award seats in business. And JL has a great business product on both those segments. Full lie flat seats! Never having done long term travel, after eleven nights in Japan and three weeks in Vietnam, we're happy to rest up at the JW Marriott Phu Quoc for a week. Then we're continuing on for three months in Cambodia, Laos and Thailand. Mid November we head to Savona Italy for a 19 night Repostioning Cruise to Argentina. Now that cruise will probably be too long but the three kids will have a ton of school work to catch up on. I would love all these 7 Night certs from the TPs that everyone is planning to forfeit.:p Edit to add: Sorry for going OT here. |

Has anyone redeemed a Marriott TP on the weekend ? My wife is going to get our Cat 7 Marriott/ Southwest TP this week but weekends are better for her to call.

I was told yesterday (Sunday) that my long wait time (14 minutes) was due to the fact that MR has less staff on the weekend. Evidently MR used to be closed on weekends but after the merger they are getting increased call volume so added weekend hours. Still not enough, but it's possible. I was told shorter wait times during the week.
I think I have everything for her, do you see anything I am missing ? 1-800-321-7396 to redeem TP I have the Hotel and Air package 3 highlighted as well as 7 nights and 120K Rapid Rewards points, category 7 and 330,000 Marriott points to redeem. Her Marriott Account number and PW are written down. Her Southwest account number and PW ( just in case) are written down. We don't want to use the hotel cert until November 2018 so is it just issued via email and you can redeem when ready ? Thanks |

When I add the Travel Package to the DreamRewards Tracker, it adds a 7-night stay at some random Residence Inn. I don't see a way to redeem the TP and the Southwest points. It wants me to look for availability at that RI. |
Does anyone know how long it takes to get the miles credited to Hawaiian Air?
I would like to purchase a 7 night package this week and use the miles in a month... |

I'm in agreement with nsx. Just because WN has put an end to this scheme on 31 March doesn't mean that Marriott couldn't shut down TP #3 before then.
We already have CP for 2017 but were going to wait until late March to get our TP figuring the extra 2 months would give us more time on the hotel in case our plans changed. After reading your post we redeemed out TP today figuring we have a lot better chance of the WN redemption for CP ending before 3/31 than 2 extra months helping us on the hotel redemption. |

On the next page you will see: Hotel + Air Package 3: Award:Redeem your Marriott Rewards points for a week-long vacation package that includes: Award Includes: Category 1-5 Points Required 270,000 (with your personal MR info). At the bottom of that page is a button "add to DreamRewards Tracker". Proceed to the DreamRewards Tracker, it will ask for your WN RR number and to confirm order. Took about 1 minute. |
