Ouch for points.
This pillow

did this to my face.

When I complained to the GM, he said he was so sorry it happened and what could he do to make it right? I said remove the pillow from the room... he asked what else... I mentioned that a few points would be nice.

What is that? A broken toothpick?
Also, did you notice it right away or did you sleep on it like that?

It was the pillow I rolled over onto while sleeping. I recall waking up with a "pinch" on the cheek, but rolled back and went back to sleep.
I believe it is the end of a feather, as it felt like a feather pillow. I am not a pillow snob, but have been selecting "feather free" on reservations ever since.

I can't believe that didn't wake you up! Wow. Thankfully it's not a cut. That could have been an issue.

Last week, I got hit my the bed rail. It was very painful. I laid on the floor for a good 5 minutes before I could get up and work. The next day I talked to the front desk when I checked out, all I got was "sorry". I didn't push for it, thinking maybe I would look like a whining baby for just a "small" hit.
