I agree. Make that call. I called on 7/25 and was told I wasn't shown as registered, even though I'm positive I registered and still had the dial-up number and date I registered. Rep said she would process paperwork.

And then came the post to my account:

7/26/02 X14 WEEKEND NIGHT-CATEGORY 0
7/26/02 X14 WEEKEND NIGHT-CATEGORY 0

It came so quickly, I wonder if she just didn't know where to look to determine if I was properly registered.

Now if MAR would simply post my two most recent stays....

My patience ran out this morning, so I called.

On my third attempt, I got through. (First they were closed [called at 8:05 EDT, got the recording "we are available 6:15am Mountain Time to..." DOH!] Second time, A recording came on telling me to try later and hung up on me...) Third time's a charm. I was told someone was working on it and my certs will be mailed within a couple days.

Conclusion: Looks like one has to call for this one...

I just called MR and Chris told me that many customers had not had their initial phone call to register the AAA promo work correctly.

After 3 minutes on hold he came back told me that his supervisor would re-register me as my phone call to register had not "taken". Certificates would go out in 2-3 weeks and my MR account should show the X14 code in about a week.

I called on 7/26 and was informed that I was never registered, which I did. He would put in a request to the technical team. Checking my account today, X14 WEEKEND NIGHT-CATEGORY finally posted.

I called MR last week and had to explain the promo to the rep. He spoke to his supervisor, took the necessary action, and yesterday the cert came in the mail.

Just called. My certificate will be mailed out tomorrow.

Question: Is this free weekend night restricted to Category 4 hotels and below?

We received all of our certs for this promotion. If you have not received yours I suggest that you call marriott rewards and check on the status. A notation appeared online within 48 hours of my call and I received the certs separately 1-2 weeks after my call. Thanks Marriott!
