Why does it take so long for Marriott to post points?
It seems to take Marriott forever to post points to their system (phone and web). What is WRONG with their system? Starwood posts your points immediately. Is there anyway to expedite this process? I have faxed my hotel bills to them twice, and I still don't have points posted...

They usually post within a week or so. Try not to need such instant gratification![/QUOTE]
Some times they do and sometimes they don't!
"Patience is in the eye of the beholder".
This person simply asked a question. Preaching "patience" is not necessary.
Please see other posts for reoccuring problems that this person has been experiencing.
Patience is staying nearly 100 nights a year in Marriotts, and expecting to be credited what I paid for without 3 phone calls and 3 or 4 faxes after the correct postings are not given.
As I mentioned in other threads, regarding this subject, I always get my nights and points, but recently it's required alot more "patience".

I appreciate you coming to my defense. And for the record, it has been over 15 business days (3 weeks), I have contacted them 3 times, and I still have not received credit for my stay. Eventually, my lack of "patience" will equate to lost business for Marriott. Some of my friends swear by Marriott, so I thought I would give them a shot. But if this sub-par customer service continues (which it sounds like it will), why give business to a company that has no regard for customer satisfaction?
Marriott is the only program that I have had this issue with, and I travel 80% of the year with multiple programs.
