I am rather new to this -- having just made Marriott Plat. and found this site -- belonged to all the membership programs, but never paid much attetion to 'elite' status before -- now much more educated (thanks all).

Anyway I wonder why I see Starwood rep answering questions, and the same it true for Hilton, but not so for Marriott. Have I missed it -- is there a Marriott rep available that I have just missed -- or do they ignore this venue for customer service?

As I said I am rather new to this venue, and may have missed such a thing, but I thought I would ask since I have not seen such, and a search does not turn up anything.

Of the Big 4...Marriott, Hilton, Starwood and Hyatt, Marriott is the only one that does not have a presence here (at least an acknowledged presence).

I would not be surprised if someone from Marriott reads these posts, and if so they've chosen to stay quiet up to this point.

I give a great deal of credit to SPG & HH for being pro-active here on FT.

Thanks Shadow -- was wondering if it was just my missing something, and not seeing it. I have been very frustrated with Marriott's lack of answers on the boards (or phone, etc), and very impressed with Hilton and Starwood (not yet that aware of Hyatt)and thought maybe I had just missed the Marriott rep. (read the wrong messages or something). Guess I will just focus where I can get answers and thank Marriott, and my earning 'elite' status with them for 'showing me the way' to these boards (oh, that sounds horrible trite, but it is true!)

Thanks again for letting me know that I didn't just miss an obvious answer (that there was a rep. posting here and I missed it by reading the 'wrong' strings -- ones that didn't need answering).
